Nucor Floating Curb -
“Classic Roof”™ and “CFR”™ Panels
The
Nucor floating curb is available for use on a standing
seam roof with roof top units weighing less than 300 pounds
total weight and on a classic roof with roof top units
weighing less than 1,200 pounds total weight.

The floating
curb is attached to the roof using self-drillingscrews
at 4” on center around the perimeter of the curb
through the center of 2 ½” tape mastic. The
opening sizes will vary based upon the model and size
of the unit selected for your building. The roof top unit
manufacturer and model number will be used when ordering
the curbs and are required at the time the order is placed.
Installation of the curb is recommended during the roof
panel installation. These curbs are available unpainted
only. They may be field painted to match the roof color
if desired.
Nucor
Floating Structural Curb - For “CFR” Panels Only
The
Nucor floating structural curb is available for use on
a standing seam roof only with roof top units weighing
greater than 300 pounds and less than 6,000 pounds total
weight. The structural curb is attached to sub-framing
below the roof sheeting. The opening sizes will vary based
upon the model and size of the unit selected for your
building. The roof top unit manufacturer and model number
will be used when ordering the curbs and are required
at the time the order is placed. Installation of the curb
is recommended during the roof panel installation. These
curbs are available unpainted only. They may be field
painted to match the roof color if desired. |
