Pacific Power Juniper Ridge Service Center
LEED-Certified Service Center with Prismatic Skylights
The PacifiCorp Juniper Ridge Service Center in Bend, Oregon, consolidates the operations of three Pacific Power offices that were previously spread across the Bend area. Located in the Juniper Ridge Industrial and Business Park in northeast Bend, the 17-acre site is the base for local employees and also includes a training facility for electrical craft employees company-wide.
The 60,000 sf warehouse and truck bay building combines gable symmetrical and single slope framing with lean-tos, and a separate maintenance structure includes a 2-ton crane. Pearl Gray insulated metal panel walls pair with Nucor’s Loc Seam 360 roof in Charcoal, creating a clean, modern look while providing a durable, thermally efficient building envelope.
Below-eave canopies and rake and eave extensions give the exterior a more finished, layered look, and their overhangs help shield the insulated metal panel walls and openings from weather. Inside, Nucor’s Reverse R-Panel ceiling liner finishes the interior. Prismatic skylights and numerous windows bring natural light into the buildings, and overhead doors provide access. The campus achieved LEED Gold certification.
