University Fieldhouse Building with External Steel Columns

Located in the heart of the Grand Canyon University campus is their 31,000 sf fieldhouse building.  Designed using a single slope clear span pre-engineered Nucor building, this athletic facility features an interior clear height that meets the requirements for competitive college volleyball and basketball. The low side tapered columns are set external of the building, and its interior features perforated acoustical liner panel.

This indoor fieldhouse includes three full-length basketball courts, a practice facility and two weight rooms, the center acts as one of the main training facilities for men’s and women’s ice hockey, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, volleyball and basketball teams. It also houses the state-of-the-art strength and conditioning center on the ground floor of the facility.
