One Million Square Foot Warehouse Expansion

This Mid-Atlantic warehouse & distribution center for Ashley Furniture stands at over a million square feet. A massive expansion to an existing conventional steel building, it features a combination of gable and single slope structures, the Nucor ClearBay® bolted joist system, full length Nucor Wall Lites, the interior has full wall Nucor Liner Panel in PVDF finish, and ridge elevations up to 48’. There is a partial mezzanine, as well as a 1,200 sf single slope pump house.

The Ashley Furniture Mid-Atlantic Region Manufacturing & Distribution Center used 3,700 tons of pre-engineered steel totaling 1,090,356 square feet.
