YMCA Building Expansion

The YMCA of DeKalb County recently underwent a major renovation and addition to an existing Nucor facility. It was designed using a 30,000 sf pre-engineered Nucor building that features a partial mezzanine, exposed and painted interior steel, and an exterior of Nucor Classic Wall™ and masonry.

Its new space includes a fieldhouse with three indoor basketball courts, a walking track, a general fitness area, a women’s wellness center, fitness rooms and a community room. The existing facility was remodeled and includes a racquetball court, fitness studios and child-watch area.
