Signature Flight Support Hangar

Located at Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC), Signature Flight Support is one of the world’s largest FBOs (fixed base operators). This 279,000 sf steel building is situated on 29 acres, and consists of seven hangars, a dedicated fuel farm, and an office space. The latter includes an executive terminal, two conference rooms, several lounges, and a flight planning area for pilots.

The building design features parapet walls made with horizontal rib wall panels, clerestory windows and skylights, decorative metal screens, and a Nucor CFR roof over rigid board and deck.

Hangar space includes six individual hangars over 30,000 sf in size. The seventh hangar is a 72,500 sf building designed to house two Boeing 767s. Each hangar features a 28-foot-high door capable of admitting the largest business jets.
