LEED® Gold Certified Building

This project is comprised of a 17,500 sf pre-engineered Nucor building used as a maintenance facility attached to a structural steel building serving as the administrative offices for Provo Power, which is the largest municipal power system in Utah.

The maintenance building houses the company’s fleet of service vehicles, and features 12 overhead doors on each side. It has an R-30 rigid insulation and membrane roof, and horizontal 2" thick insulated metal wall panels. The state-of-the-art facility incorporates numerous energy efficient and sustainable features, including solar panels, earning LEED Gold Certification. This project is also MBCEA’s 2017 Building of the Year.
