Flight School Hangar with a Modern Design

This world–class flight school & hangar was built at Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in San Diego, one of the busiest airports in the U.S. for small aircraft. The building includes a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) with an executive lounge, pilot lounge, office space, and conference room. The passenger terminal has been designed to support the needs of corporate, charter and general aviation.

A mezzanine utilizing a Nucor Ecospan® Composite Floor System expands the 4,800 sf office. The flight school on the second floor can accommodate up to 75 students at a time with classrooms and private study areas.

The nearly 15,000 sf clear span, rigid frame gang hangar features two Schweiss Hydroswing doors. The exterior is finished with Nucor Reverse Classic Wall and Classic Roof systems.
