3 Roots private clubhouse & gymnasium was built to exclusively serve residents of the newly developed Sorrento Mesa residential community. The design of 3 Roots successfully replicates the surrounding collection of residential districts with modern architecture combining steel and stone in unique and natural ways. The wellness space and social hub have lounge areas, a business center, and swimming pools.

A gorgeous, full-height glass curtain wall accentuates the entrance and provides a lot of natural lighting, adding to the sustainable appeal. It includes a 60’ x 92’ mezzanine, leaving the rec center with extra square footage for amenities. A 50-foot ficus tree grows through a circular roof opening of the metal building to infuse natural elements with the industrial aesthetic.
