Custom Clear Span Fire Station with VR16 II Roof

The Lyon Township Fire Hall serves as the area’s main apparatus building with three drive through bays capable of holding six fire engines. The main apparatus bay and attached office building are clear span rigid frame design, topped with a Nucor VR16 II vertical rib standing seam roof with a sculptured eave, and a 2' overhang.  Both of the roofs intersect creating a hip & valley condition. The apparatus building has complete liner on the walls and ceiling. The office entrance is accented by a below-eave vestibule. This custom steel building also has a 22,000 gallon reservoir under the floor for fire suppression.
