Ryan was born and raised in NE Indiana near our Waterloo plant. He attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN where he obtained a BS in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering.

Upon graduating college Ryan worked as a Design Engineer for an A/E firm in Indianapolis, IN.

Ryan joined NBS-IN in 1998 as a Design Engineer and has been with Nucor for 11 years.  He moved to the field as a Sales Engineer operating out of the Lancaster, PA sales office for NBS-IN in 2001.  Ryan then pursued an opportunity to return to Waterloo, IN and become the Estimating Supervisor for NBS-IN in late 2003.  In 2008 Ryan was promoted to Engineering Manager for NBS-SC.
