Brett has been with NBS-TX since 1999 and has been the Controller for NBS-TX since 2000.  Prior to NBS-TX, he worked as the accounting supervisor for Nucor Steel-Texas for 6 years.
Brett graduated with a BBA in accounting from Sam Houston State University and began his career at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston as an accountant in the Contracts and Grants department.  He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1997. 

He is also a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Brett and his wife have two children.  Family interests include bike riding, basketball, tennis and swimming.
