Matt has been the Controller for NBS-SC since 2003.  Prior to coming to Nucor, he had been a Controller at various manufacturing companies for ten years. 

Matt started his career in Ingersoll-Rand’s Financial Management Trainee Program.  He has spent three plus years in Europe, one year in Mexico and moved 12 times.  Matt graduated with a BS in Finance from Bentley University (Waltham, MA) and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Matt is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, and both the Greater Columbia and the SC Chamber of Commerce. In their leisure time, Matt, his wife and three daughters are active in golf, tennis, and soccer.
